A Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) is a special court order that individuals obtain in divorce that specifies the division and distribution of a pension. WebI do not know of any papers you would have to sign for IPERS. You cannot take a beneficiary spouse off the IPERS, without the signature of the potential beneficiary, but if your divorce is already final, I don't know what you would be signing. IPERS does not fall under the ERISA law and is pretty much self governing.
