WebOct 12, 2024 · I realize the Phoibos is "cheaper" than the Squale; some may consider the Phoibos to be a better value. Regardless, objectively, they both have the things I want (ceramic bezel, sapphire, applied indices). The Squale uses an ETA 2824-2 while the Phoibos uses a Miyota 9015; both are reported to be pretty decent mid-range movements. It wears great (if maybe a bit heavy) on the bracelet, but for my taste the 14mm case-thickness makes it just a bit too bulky on a NATO.
